Great results at the Irish FreeFrom Award 2016

Flanagan’s Foods are very proud to announce that two of their Principals were awarded at the FreeFrom Food Awards (FFFI) Ireland in June 2016.

 

FFFI are Ireland's only industry awards dedicated to the free from food industry. The Irish awards follow on from the success of the FreeFrom Food Awards in the UK, which were started in 2008 by the Foods Matter and FreeFrom Foods Matter team.

 

The FFFI were launched in ROI at the Allergy & FreeFrom Expo in October 2015. Although similar to the UK version, the Irish awards have been adapted for the Irish market. The purpose remains the same, the Awards are designed to promote, recognise and reward the efforts of food and drinks producers in the FreeFrom Food sector.

Flanagan’s Foods have entered two of their Principals, Elizabeth Shaw Mint Crisp Dark Chocolate and Plamil Chocolate Orange Spread. The first product has won SILVER in the ’Chocolate Confectionery’ category, whilst the second has taken the BRONZE prize in the ’Substitute products’  category.
